Finally with all four exterior walls up, it was time to start the interior wall framing. Another nice day, and that is so much easier than working in the rain.

We wanted the cabin to be as open as possible, so there aren’t a lot of interior walls. On the main level, we have the one bedroom, a bathroom and a closet.

Nice thing about interior wall framing is they are made of 2×4’s and only eight feet tall. This makes them a lot easier to lift. In fact, we didn’t even need the wall jack to lift them.

We managed to get all the main level framing done in one day. Now we are ready to put up the second floor.
