Birds

Nine Bean Rows is an off-grid cabin/homestead. Located on a major migration route for lots of bird species from Canada Geese to Golden Eagles. As a result the Spring and Fall are particularly busy times with the exciting possibility of spotting a wide verity of birds.

Some birds like the Great Horned Owl and a variety of woodpeckers are year round residents. Others like American Gold Finch and American Avocet are only summer residents. It is particularly nice to see the colorful birds like Mountain Bluebird, Ruby-Throated Hummingbird or Yellow Warbler.

Not being a bird expert I have tried my best to identify the birds photographed , here are some of the birds we’ve spotted at the cabin.
